Cia. Brasileira de Comércio Exterior was incorporated in 1942, in the city of Santos, founded by Américo Ribeiro dos Santos, as a service provider for customs clearance, and serving countless foreign clients that settled in Brazil after World War II.

To meet the high demand to export Brazilian products, the company currently operates as a Trading Company.  With its new focus on the international market, service quality requirements became higher. Investments in technology and infrastructure have massively increased, pursuing more effective operations that have strengthened CBCE in the global market.
